My life, my passions

I am a landscape and wildlife photographer based in County Wicklow, Ireland. My work focuses on natural environments, authentic light, and the quiet interactions between wildlife and the land. I prioritise clarity, simplicity, and an honest representation of the places and species I photograph.

My approach is deliberate and observational. I spend extended time in the field, moving slowly and allowing scenes to develop naturally. I do not stage images or rely on artificial enhancement, and I do not use AI-generated content. What I present is a direct reflection of what I witness.

My style is minimalist and contemplative, with an emphasis on atmosphere and presence rather than spectacle. I aim to capture environments and wildlife in a way that communicates mood, structure, and the character of a place.

Ireland is central to my work. Wicklow’s valleys, bogs, forests, and uplands provide a consistent source of material and inspiration. I also photograph in other European regions, including the Scottish Highlands, Italy, and France, where my family roots originate.

Environmental involvement

Beyond photography, I’m deeply committed to environmental preservation and animal protection. During my walks and photo sessions, I take great care not to disturb wildlife. I’m a proud member of both the Whale and Dolphin Conservation organization and the Irish Wildlife Trust.
