My life, my passions

I’m a landscape and wildlife photographer based in County Wicklow, Ireland. My work is rooted in solitude, light, and the quiet tension between nature and time. I don’t seek spectacle — I seek stillness. Whether I’m walking through the boglands of Wicklow, watching deer move through morning mist, standing on a cliff in the Scottish Highlands, or waiting for a kestrel to rise over a forgotten valley in Europe, I look for moments that feel suspended. Fragile. Honest.

I photograph slowly. I walk, I wait, I listen. My images are not planned — they are found. I’m drawn to subtle shifts in light, to silence, to the texture of wind on water or the hush of wings overhead. I avoid artificial enhancement and never use AI-generated imagery. What I capture is what I see — and what I feel.

My style is minimalist, contemplative, and often solitary. It’s less about documenting a place or species and more about translating a presence. A mood. A memory.

Ireland is my home and my muse. Wicklow’s quiet valleys, its bogs, forests, and hidden trails offer endless inspiration. But my lens also travels — to the raw coastlines of Scotland, the windswept plains of northern Europe, and the desert-like landscapes of Malta. Each terrain speaks its own language. I try to listen.

Environmental involvement

Beyond photography, I’m deeply committed to environmental preservation and animal protection. During my walks and photo sessions, I take great care not to disturb wildlife. I’m a proud member of both the Whale and Dolphin Conservation organization and the Irish Wildlife Trust.
