My life, my passions
I’m Eric Trevisan, a French wildlife photographer. Since 2020, I’ve been living in County Wicklow, Ireland, also known as the Garden of Ireland. My journey into photography began when I was just 13 years old, and back then, my favorite subjects were aviation and motor racing. Those were the days of film photography, and developing those films taught me valuable lessons in avoiding basic mistakes.
As I traveled more and more, my passions evolved, and I found myself drawn to wildlife and landscape photography combined with my other interests, such as hiking—particularly with Willow, my faithful companion on my adventures—and my environmental involvement. Some of my most memorable experiences include witnessing dolphins leaping out of the water, being close to whales, and encountering otters. These moments fuel my passion for photography.
Environmental involvement
Beyond photography, I’m deeply committed to environmental preservation and animal protection. During my walks and photo sessions, I take great care not to disturb wildlife. I’m a proud member of both the Whale and Dolphin Conservation organization and the Irish Wildlife Trust.
